Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has granted an extension to the deadline for the receipt of applications for the recruitment in the Cadre of District Judge via Limited Competitive Examination.
The application submission deadline, which was scheduled to close on Monday, February 21, has now been given an extension till March 8.
The extension has been granted after a change in the cut-off date in the applicants’ upper age limit, according to the latest notification. The cut-off date of eligibility was earlier scheduled for April 1, 2022, which has now been changed to April 1, 2021.
“In view of the corrected cut-off date of eligibility, the period for submission of application is extended. The last date of submission of application is March 8, 2022,” said the High Court.
“It is clarified that the applicants those who have already submitted the application on the basis of the cut-off date 01.04.2022 as mentioned in the last corrigendum issued to the advertisement, but they are not eligible as per the correct cut-off date i.e. 01.04.2021, their application will not be considered,” the notification added.
As many as 19 vacancies will be filled up via the recruitment drive in the pay scale of Rs 51, 550- 1230-58,930-1 380-63,070/- with usual DA and other allowances as admissible from time to time.
