Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is hiring as many as 367 junior engineers on contractual basis.
Advertisements have been issued for recruitment of 257 junior engineers (Civil) and 106 (mechanical).
- Late date for applying:
Candidates are required to apply through online mode only and the last date for applying is September 29. - Online application form is available on the OSSC’s official website www.ossc.gov.in
Age:
The age limit must not be below 21 and above 32 for general category candidates. However, there is age relaxation for other category and women candidates.
Educational qualification:
Candidates must be a diploma holder or an equivalent qualification from institutes recognised by Odisha Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training. Candidates who have passed through distance mode are not eligible to apply.
Selection process:
The selection will be based on written test (objective type) of 100 marks, carrying 50 per cent weightage and career evaluation. The high school certificate exam will carry 20 per cent weightage and diploma will carry 30 per cent weightage.
