Over 60K Students Register For Odisha Plus III Admissions So Far
Bhubaneswar: Over 60,000 students have enrolled for undergraduate (UG) courses in Odisha as of September 10, according to the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) statistics.
The State Higher Education Department has started conducting admissions for Plus III via SAMS from this year.
The students can apply for admission to 1,029 colleges in Odisha on the SAMS official website samsodisha.gov.in.
The online admissions for UG courses started on September 8 and will continue till September 22. The first merit list will be released on September 28. A second merit list will be released later.
After the announcement of the two merit lists, the spot selection merit list will be released in October. The Higher Education Department will circulate separate guidelines to all the colleges regarding spot admission.
As per SAMS data, 62,334 students have enrolled for UG courses, 49,476 have applied and 44,797 students have paid the application fees for admission.
Last year, the degree admission program in Odisha started on June 12 and the first merit list came out on July 3. The classes started on July 16, 2019.
