New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the educational community of the country at 4.30 pm today to mark the completion of one year of reforms under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address policymakers in the domain of education and skill development, students and teachers across the country via video conferencing. He will also launch multiple initiatives in the education sector.
The NEP approved by the Union Cabinet last year at a meeting presided by Prime Minister Modi, replaced the National Policy on Education framed in 1986. It is aimed at paving the way for transformational reforms in school and higher education systems to make India a global knowledge superpower.
