Chandigarh: As per guidelines issued by the Union Ministry for Health and Family Welfare earlier this month, vis-a-vis activities in schools, the Punjab government has allowed students of classes 9 to 12 to visit their schools if they are located outside containment zones, subject to written consent from their parents.
Come Monday, students can voluntarily meet their teachers for guidance.
Regular classes will continue to be held in online mode till September 30 when the government is expected to announce the next course of action.
The state’s home department has issued detailed instructions to allow skill or entrepreneurship training in National Skill Training Institutes, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and short-term training centres registered with the National Skill Development Corporation, State Skill Development Missions, other ministries of Government of India or State Governments.
Likewise, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Developments (NIESBUD), Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) and their training providers have also been allowed to function from September 21, by strictly adhering to standard protocols.
