Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has revised qualifying norms for Science and Arts graduates for the Odisha Secondary School Teachers Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021.
As per revised qualifying norms, issued by School and Mass Education Department, Science graduate candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) applying for the post of Trained Science Graduate teachers should have passed with any of the two above subjects in schools while the Science graduate candidates with Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology (CBZ) should have passed with any of the two above subjects in schools.
Arts graduate candidates should have passed with any two school subjects among English, Odia, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity.
Meanwhile, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in a notification on July 10 has extended the date for filling up form for OSSTET to July 18.
