Silchar: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar secured the sixth position in India and 275th worldwide in the UI GreenMetric 2020 recently.
A total of 922 universities from across 84 countries took part in the ranking process.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and the Ministry of Education have congratulated the institute on its achievement via micro-blogging site Twitter.
