New Delhi: The merger of content and patent will help India grow into a global superpower in the education sector, believes India’s Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.
“The new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will help you in your journey, helping you match your talent and education with the right patent to bring progress. This merger of content and patent will help us grow into a global superpower for education,” Pokhriyal said at the 18th convocation ceremony of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur on Monday.
The Union Minister, in his address as the chief guest, congratulated the outgoing students. “The entire world is open for you today. You are graduating from here as warriors, with the knowledge you have acquired from this institute, and you will not need to apply it in your life. From here on, all questions will be asked by you, and the answers too will be presented by you,” he was quoted as saying by ABP Education.
Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre, whole-time director and senior executive vice president of L&T’s defence and business, Jayant D Patil and VNIT Nagpur director Dr Pramod M Padole attended the event.
