BHUBANESWAR: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened registration window for the CUET UG 2025 exam.
The last date for submitting application forms is March 22. The exam is tentatively scheduled between May 8 and June 1, 2025. The detailed schedule, exam city details, and admit cards will be announced later, said a notification issued by the NTA.

CUET UG 2025 schedule
- Registration window opens: March 1, 2025
- Application submission deadline: March 22, 2025
- Fee payment deadline: March 23, 2025
- Correction window for application forms: March 24 to 26, 2025
- Exam dates: May 8 to June 1, 2025
The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates can choose up to five subjects from a total of 23 subjects. Candidates can select up to six subjects for the exam.
Some subjects including Tourism, Legal Studies, Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, and Engineering Graphics have been removed from the exam, the notification said.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be Indian citizens or persons of Indian origin
- They must have completed or be in the process of completing their 10+2 education from an accredited board or university
- Candidates in the general category must have at least 50% of their Class 12 grades, while SC/ST candidates must have at least 45%
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology are required subjects, depending on the course selected
- There is no upper age limit for taking the CUET UG exam.
How to Apply for CUET UG 2025
Step 1: Visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
Step 2: Click on the registration link on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will open and complete the registration process.
Step 4: Log in to your account by using the credentials
Step 5: Enter the required details and upload documents.
Step 6: Pay the application fee
Step 7: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page
Step 8: Take a printout for reference.

Students need to upload the following documents while applying
- Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
- Date of birth certificate
- Scanned passport-size photo
- Scanned signature
- Category certificate (if applicable, in PDF format)
- Bank details for fee payment
- Valid email ID and phone number
Students must complete the application process and submit all the required documents and fees on the official website before the deadline.
Participating universities or organisations will create a merit list based on CUET UG scores provided by the NTA. Each university may conduct its counseling process for admissions.

As per the notification, candidates cannot bring any items like instruments, geometry boxes, pencil boxes, handbags, purses, papers, books, food, water, mobile phones, earphones, microphones, calculators, electronic watches, cameras, or any metallic or electronic gadgets into the exam hall.
