Registration Process For JEE Advanced Begins Today; Know Details

Bhubaneswar: With JEE Mains results declared late last night, the second hurdle in the way to get into a prestigious engineering college is clearing JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced is the second stage to get into the Indian Institute of Technology. Based on the rank and counselling, one becomes eligible to take admission in the college of his/her choice.

However, one must be clear that not every JEE Mains successful applicant gets to apply for JEE Advanced. Only the top 2.5 lakh rank holders are allowed to do it.

The registration for JEE Advanced begins on Saturday, September 12. Students can get themselves registered at jeeadv.ac.in. The process will close on September 17. The registration fee for female and reserved category candidates is Rs 1,400; for foreign nationals $150; for SAARC nations USD75 and for the rest of the candidate Rs 2,800.

The exam is will be held on September 27. Moreover, IIT Delhi is conducting the exams this year.

JEE Advanced 2020 will consist of two compulsory question papers of three hours each. Each question paper will consist of three separate sections physics, chemistry and mathematics.

As per the IIT, the questions will test the “comprehension, reasoning, and analytical ability of candidates,” reported The Indian Express.
