New Delhi: A slew of measures have been announced by the Russian engineering and medical colleges to ensure safety to Indian students and help them continue with studies despite the pandemic and travel restrictions.
The authorised Indian representative for Russian universities, Study Abroad Educational Consultants representatives and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture said that they have already initiated talks with the leading Indian medical colleges and hospitals for a solution.
They are inclined to provide clinical training in India to provide teaching during travel restrictions, reported The Hindu Business Line.
According to them, the India Virtual Educational Fair 2021 will be conducted on August 1 to makes aspirants aware of the quality of engineering and medical courses offered by the Russian institutions. A digital platform (www.rusedufair.com) has been created for the students to interact directly with the institution authorities for enrolment.
Consul General of The Russian Federation In South India, Oleg N. Avdeev said the higher education standard in Russia is considered one of the most advanced and sophisticated worldwide. The cost is comparatively lesser because it is highly subsidised by the Government of the Russian Federation, he added.
