Bhubaneswar: SAI International hosted a virtual cultural fest e-UNWIND 2021 over an immersive and lifelike virtual 3D venue on Sunday, January 23. The programme was hosted and led by the Class XI & XII students of Humanities and Commerce.
e-UNWIND is a brainchild of the institution’s Founder–Chairman Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo and it aims to render a unique learning experience for the students as it prepares the students for a promising future thereby developing an entrepreneurial mindset along with cultivating human values.
SAI International Education Group Chairperson, Dr Silpi Sahoo, threw open the e-unwind followed by a graceful Odissi dance performance by ace Indian Odissi dancer Saswat Joshi.
The programme has a total of 11,250 participants on its online platform in 6 tracks, enjoying learning from the 24 workshops, activities and competitions, according to a press release.
Students from Nursery to Class XII of SAI International School, SAI Angan and SAI International Residential School participated in the Virtual Platform. The one-day mega fest is completely student-led, and not just encompasses a gamut of interesting activities but also some CSR initiatives.
On the occasion, the SAIoneers along with their parents showcased their musical and dancing talents in the virtual platforms during UNWIND 2021.
“It gives me immense joy to see my SAIoneers of Commerce and Humanities put up such a mega and immersive platform for UNWIND 2021. I am sure that all the students would have enjoyed the entire session. UNWIND is a platform where children learn the skills of leadership, entrepreneurship and empathy. The vision of Founder-Chairman Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo was to build critical thinkers, problem solvers with insightful and focused thoughts, the future entrepreneurial citizens of India. He dreamt of creating global leaders who are critical-thinking innovators with flourishing careers and ready to re-shape the world for the better. I am happy to see my SAIoneers walking on the path laid down by our Founder Chairman,” Chairperson, SAI International Education Group Dr Silpi Sahoo said said on the occasion.
