NEW DELHI: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the admit cards for the SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination 2025.

Candidates who have registered for the exam can download their hall tickets from the bank’s official website, sbi.co.in.

The preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on September 20, 21, and 27, across India. The recruitment drive aims to fill 6,589 vacancies.

Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo ID to get entry into the examination hall.

According to the official SBI portal, candidates can download their SBI Clerk Prelims 2025 admit card until September 27.

To access the hall ticket, applicants must log in using their registration or roll number, along with their password or date of birth in the DD-MM-YY format.

How to download SBI Clerk Prelims Admit Card

Step 1: Visit the official SBI website, , sbi.co.in

Step 2: Navigate to the “Careers” section

Step 3: Click on the link for “SBI Clerk Prelims Admit Card 2025”

Step 4: Enter registration number and date of birth

Step 5: Download and take a printout of the hall ticket for reference

The admit card will include key personal and exam-related details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, registration ID, gender, category, and scanned photo and signature.

Additionally, it will mention the parent’s name, exam date, reporting time, and specifics like the exam subject and shift timing.

The SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination 2025 is set to be conducted in four shifts each day, with shift of one hour each.

The first shift will run from 9 am to 10 am, followed by the second shift from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The third shift is scheduled from 2 pm to 3 pm, and the final shift will take place from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Exam pattern

In its recruitment notice, SBI had earlier confirmed that the Preliminary Examination will be held in September 2025, while the Main Examination is tentatively scheduled for November 2025.

The selection process consists of multiple phases. It begins with a Preliminary Exam, an online test carrying 100 marks. The next phase is the Main Exam, which includes 190 questions and carries 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Additionally, a Language Proficiency Test is required for candidates who haven’t studied the local language in Class 10 or 12.

Notably, only the marks from the Main Exam are considered for preparing the final merit list. The final selection is contingent upon eligibility verification and qualifying in the local language test.
