New Delhi: University Grants Commission (UGC) officials said that within a week, Junior Research Fellows (JRF) will receive all pending emoluments, reported Hindustan Times.
Citing the delay caused by “technical issues” which were now resolved, UGC Secretary Rajnish Jain said that “along with existing emoluments, the backlog would also be cleared” and that the fellowships would be distributed “within this week”.
JRF scholars are qualified candidates of National Eligibility Test (NET) and UGC — Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) joint test, receiving Rs 31,000 per month.
