SOA To Host IEEE 3rd International Conference On Sustainable Energy & Future Electric Transportation

Bhubaneswar: More than 500 researchers from across the world will be attending the four-day Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Future Electric Transportation (SeFeT-2023).

The conference, which will begin at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University here on Thursday, will provide a platform for engineers, researchers, scientists and academicians to present their work, share experiences and ideas in areas of renewable energy, electric transportation, power electronics, electric drives, control techniques, smart grids, communication protocols, intelligent charging infrastructure and standards.

Delegates from several countries including the USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, Japan, China, The Netherlands, Taiwan, Qatar and Thailand will attend the conference, informed Prof. Renu Sharma, General Chair, SeFeT-2023.

IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) is a volunteer-driven organisation for engineering professionals looking to advance the theory and practice of electrical and electronic systems while IEEE Power and Energy Society is the oldest society of IEEE focused on the scientific and engineering knowledge about electric power and energy.

IEEE SeFeT will feature keynote and plenary sessions, technical paper presentations, industry sessions and awards.

There will be a Students’ and Young Professionals’ event for scholars and engineers besides an industry session to provide the opportunity to learn about new technologies, said Prof. Sharma, adding there will also be a start-up exhibition.

A series of workshops, presentations and round-table discussions have been planned for the first time as part of the IEEE Smart Village (ISV) concept.
