Cuttack: Cases of cybercrimes and digital scams are on the rise, leading to growing job market for cyber security experts.
With the aim of developing such capable employees in this field, Cuttack-based Sri Sri University and CyberPeace Foundation have jointly launched the first-of-its-kind school of cyber peace.
According to university authorities, the Sri Sri School of CyberPeace will enhance the employability quotient of its students as well as their entrepreneurial skills so that they are competent enough to start up their own ventures after passing out.
Along with this school, Sri Sri University also launched five other centres and a faculty that will offer 20 programs in the upcoming academic year 2021-22.
The new facilities were launched by spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar through a virtual event on Wednesday.
The other research centres launched are Sri Sri Centre for Advanced Research in Kathak (1st & largest in the world), Sri Sri Centre for Advanced Research in Bharatnatyam, Faculty of Emerging Technologies including department of Emerging Technologies, Sri Sri Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies (1st in India) and Sri Sri Centre for Advanced Research in Water Resources and Environment Management
