New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to hold the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam between August 13 and 24.
This will be the first selection test of the total of four. On the basis of the results in the four selection tests, the SSC will shortlist candidates for 7,305 vacancies.
In the SSC CGL 2020 notification released in December 2019, the Commission had announced to fill more than 6,000 vacancies.
The Commission released an updated list of vacancies in February that revised the number of positions to 7,305.
As many as 500 auditor and 400 Divisional Accountant positions will be filled via this recruitment drive in the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
A total of 1216 Central Excise Inspector vacancies are there in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC). The Central Board of Direct Taxes has 1,085 Tax Assistant positions to be filled.
The admit card for the SSC CGL 2020 will be released in July last week. The notification for SSC CGL 2021 has not yet been released.
