NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the last date for raising objections against the tentative answer keys of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) Tier-I, 2025. Candidates can now submit their challenges until 11 am on October 21.
During the announcement of tentative answer keys earlier, the SSC notified the earlier deadline as 9 pm on October 19. Candidates can now raise their objections on the official website at ssc.gov.in.
“It has been decided to extend the last date up to which the facility will be live from 19.10.2025 (09:00 PM) to 21.10.2025 (11:00 AM). All other terms and conditions mentioned in the Notice dated 16.10.2025 remain the same,” said a notification issued by the SSC.

The tentative answer keys and candidates’ response sheets were released on October 16, 2025, allowing examinees to verify responses and raise challenges online.
The SSC CGL Tier-I exam was conducted from September 12 to September 26, 2025, with an additional session on October 14, 2025 for certain centres.
The SSC said that the saved question paper and response sheets are meant solely for personal reference and self-analysis.
Candidates accessing the challenge portal are required to agree to an undertaking confirming that they will not share or publish the material elsewhere. SSC clarified that “no requests for providing response sheets or tentative answer keys will be entertained after the specified deadline.”

The SSC had earlier opened the provisional challenge window to ensure transparency in the evaluation process. It noted that each challenge must be backed by documentary proof, and only online submissions will be considered.
Once the objection window closes on October 21, the SSC will review all challenges and release the final answer key, followed by the Tier-I results. Candidates qualifying the Tier-I exam will be eligible to appear for the Tier-II stage, the next level in the SSC CGL 2025 recruitment process.
