The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) recruitment notification for 2019 on October 22.
The exam (Tier 1) will be conducted on computer-based mode from March 2 to 11, 2020.
The SSC-CGL exam is conducted to fill up vacancies in Ministries, government departments and in subordinate offices.
This is the biggest opportunity for graduates who wish to be a part of a reputed government organisation.
The Commission had on September 30, 2019 released the SSC calendar 2019-21 and had announced the dates of the upcoming exams. Candidates can click here for the exam calendar.
The overall recruitment process consists of 4 tiers. Each tier needs to be cleared depending upon the requirement of different posts.
• Tier 1 will be of 60 minutes duration in online mode.
• Tier 2 is an objective exam which will consist of 4 papers, each paper will be of 60 minutes duration in online mode.
• Tier 3 descriptive exam will be of 60 minutes duration in the written mode.
• Tier 4 – Skill Test to be done where applicable.
