New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-II Exam 2019 began on Sunday, November 15, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the examination schedule, the exam will continue till November 18.
The SSC has implemented social distancing norms during the Computer Based Test (CBT) strictly following the guidelines set by the Centre in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The candidates need to note the following instructions:
1) The candidates are advised to reach the venue of examination well before gate closure time to avoid last-minute crowding.
2) Candidates are advised to follow social distancing norms and maintain a 6-foot distance among them.
3) Mapping of candidate Roll Number and Lab Number will not be displayed outside the venue but will be provided individually at the time of entry after verification of Admission Certificate and ID Proof.
4) Hand-sanitisation facility will be available at the entry gate and also inside the examination venue.
5) Contactless candidate verification will be conducted by flashing of admit card and valid photo ID proof at the Document Verification desk.
6) Ballpen and rough sheets will be provided to the candidates. Candidates will be required to drop the rough sheets in the drop box provided in the Lab.
7) Candidates with COVID-19 positive declaration or symptoms of fever, cough, etc. will not be allowed to enter the examination venue.
8) Candidates may also use hand gloves at their discretion.
9) Candidates are required to undergo contact-less frisking and temperature checking using thermo gun before they proceed to the document verification desk. The functionaries will examine the Admission Certificate, ID Proofs, etc., and candidates will then move towards the registration desk.
