New Delhi: The students’ attendance in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across the country soared after schools reopened physical classes recently.
As per official data compiled on February 11, an average of 65 per cent students of Class X, and 67 per cent students of Class XII are attending offline classes in all the KVs across the nation, reported NDTV.
However, for Classes IX and XI, the attendance was recorded below 50 per cent. An average of 42 per cent students of Class IX and 48 per cent of Class XI students are attending physical classes.
“These figures are dynamic and trends indicate consistent increase every day,” an official statement read.
The provision for online classes is also there for students who are not attending the schools. Students have also been advised to stay in touch with their teachers through various digital platforms.
