New Delhi: As the Board exam results of Class XII have been withheld due to the pandemic, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is allowing such students to register for the Chartered Accountant foundation course at the institute.
However, the registration will be temporary and the institute reserves the right to cancel it if any student doesn’t pass the Board exams.
A notice issued by ICAI stated, “In view of above, such candidates who are not able to register themselves in the Foundation due to non-appearance in all papers of Class 12 examination, the Competent Authority has decided to relax the eligibility criteria for registering in the Foundation Course, as a one-time measure.”
Interested students can apply for the CA course by logging on to the official website, icai.org.
