New Delhi: The Supreme Court gave a green signal to the conduct of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) exams scheduled from July 5. The top court order came while hearing three separate petitions on ICAI exams on Tuesday.
The Supreme Court has also told the institute to consider opt-out options for COVID-affected students. The institute, in reply, said that the court’s suggestions will be implemented and the apex court will hear the plea for final disposal on Wednesday, June 30.
The CA Final, Inter, IPC and PQC exams are scheduled from July 5 to July 20, and the CA Foundation exams between July 24 and July 30.
The apex court has also directed the ICAI to nominate the authority to certify a candidate has COVID related issues for opting out.
