Bengaluru: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd. Is helping the Malaysian government to help the country develop a digital economy and create digital jobs by offering proper training.
Malaysia had earlier launched the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (MyDIGITAL) which was aimed at enhancing digitalisation, improve infrastructure and establish more trusted and secure digital environment. The country is also aiming to develop 20,000 cybersecurity knowledge workers and 30,000 data professionals by 2025.
“We are working closely with Malaysian government agencies to create more digital jobs for the country. TCS is supporting national efforts to fill the digital skills gap and create well-paying jobs in the technology sector for Malaysian youths,” TCS Malaysia head Jeevan Rajoo said via a post.
The TCS said in a post on its website that it would drive digital sustainability across the Malaysian ecosystem by working with one-stop portal, Human Resources Development Fund Placement Centre (HPC), that matches employers from a variety of industries and sectors with the right candidates, reported The Hindu.
Close to 400 high-skilled jobs were listed on HPC, including business analysts, cybersecurity specialists, cloud engineers, enterprise architects, full stack developers and UI/UX designers.
The technology giant would offer its two-month Initial Learning Programme (ILP) and hands-on training to train fresh graduates and new recruits.
