HYDERABAD: The Telangana Department of School Education (TG DSE) has released the notification for Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET or TGTET) 2025 on its official website, https://tgtet.aptonline.in/tgtet/

According to a notification on the official website, the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) 2025 registration will begin on April 15, and remain open until April 30.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official website once the application link is activated.

TG TET 2025 exam schedule

The TG TET 2025 will be conducted online in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between June 15 and June 30.

The exam will be held in two sessions per day. Each session will be for 2 hours and 30 minutes. However, the detailed schedule for Paper I and Paper II will be announced separately.

TG TET 2025 eligibility criteria

Candidates need to satisfy specific requirements for paper 1 or paper 2 of TS TET (TGTET).

For Paper-I (Classes I to V): Candidates must have passed Intermediate with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PH) and hold a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.

For Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII): Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PH) and a B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education) qualification.

TG TET 2025 exam pattern

The TG TET 2025 exam will be entirely based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. No negative marking will be awarded for incorrect responses.

Paper I is designed for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V, while Paper II is meant for those who wish to teach Classes VI to VIII.

Candidates aiming to qualify for teaching positions across both primary and upper primary levels are required to appear for both Paper I and Paper II.
