True Merit: 15-Year-Old Who Cycled 24 Km Daily To Reach School Secures 98.7% In MP Board Exams

Roshani Bhadoriya, a 15-year-old girl who cycled 24 km every day to attend school, has secured 98.7 per cent marks to be ranked 8th in the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education’s Class 10 exams.

Her achievement has so delighted and moved father Purushottam Bhadoriya, a farmer, that he has vowed to arrange a transport for her to commute to school hereafter.

The teenager from Ajnol village in Bhind district of Chambal region studied in a different school up to class 8 when she had a bus facility.

Roshani’s aim in life is to study hard and pursue a career in Civil Service.
