NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2025.
Candidates who have appeared for the June session exam can access the answer key and their individual response sheets by visiting the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
The exam was conducted on July 28 for 1,95,241 candidates. The CSIR NET June 2025 session was held for eligibility determination for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and admission to PhD programmes in universities and institutions across the country.
“Provisional Answer Key with the Candidates Recorded Responses has been uploaded on the website for inviting challenges (if any) to the Provisional Answer Key of any question ONLINE only. Candidates, who are not satisfied with the ANSWER Key, may challenge the same by paying a fee ₹ 200 per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee,” said a notification issued by the NTA.

How to raise challenge in CSIR NET June 2025 Answer Key
Step 1: Visit the official NTA CSIR NET website, csirnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the “Challenge Answer Key” link
Step 3: Log in using your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Step 4: Click on “View Answer Sheet” to see your marked responses.
Step 5: To raise an objection, click on the “Challenge” button.
Step 6: Enter the question ID and the correct answer as per the provisional answer key.
Step 7: Upload relevant supporting documents.
Step 8: Review your challenge. You may use the “Modify Claim” option if needed.
Step 9: Pay the objection fee of Rs 200 per question to complete the process, and submit.
The last date to raise objections is August 3. The objection fee is non-refundable, and only challenges submitted with valid payment and documentation will be considered.
