Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi interacted with students during a morning walk at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras campus to discuss their experiences, aspirations and ideas for India’s future.
Joshi shared glimpses of his visit on social media, posting photographs from his walk across the IIT Madras campus. In his post, the minister said he had the opportunity to meet students along the way and exchange thoughts on their vision for the country.

The informal interaction came against the backdrop of growing emphasis on innovation, research and the role of India’s higher education institutions in shaping the country’s future.
IIT Madras is among India’s premier institutions and has emerged as a major hub for technology, entrepreneurship and research.
The photographs shared by Joshi showed him engaging with students during his walk on the campus, offering a glimpse of the minister’s interaction with the student community in a more informal setting.
