UPSC CDS 2 Result 2026: 8,956 Candidates Qualify For Interviews

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the CDS 2 result 2026 and 8,956 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
The written exam was conducted on September 13.
The UPSC CDS 2 result PDF has been released on the official website upsc.gov.in. The list carries the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified in the written examination.
The marksheets will be available within 15 days of the declaration of the final result for the Officers Training Academy (OTA) course, following the SSB interviews, said an official notification.

Candidates who have qualified in the written examination have to undergo SSB interview, subject to the applicable eligibility conditions and verification requirements.
The SSB interviews will be conducted by the respective Service Selection Boards of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA).
Candidates who have opted for the Army as their first choice, including IMA and OTA, need to register on the Recruiting Directorate’s website at joinindianarmy.nic.in to receive information on SSB interviews.
UPSC CDS 2 Marksheet 2026
According to the UPSC notice, marksheets of candidates will be available on the Commission’s online portal upsconline.nic.in within 15 days of the publication of the final result for the OTA course.
The mark-sheets will remain available on the website for 30 days.
