New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to reopen the window for exam centre change for the aspirants of UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 on Monday, July 12.
Candidates appearing for the IAS exam can alter the exam centre in two phases. According to UPSC’s official notice, the exam centre change dates and other details are available on the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
The Commission said via the notice that the window of submitting the candidates’ revised choice of centres will be functional in two phases — July 12 to July 19 (6 pm) and July 26 to July 30 (6 pm) on the official link upsconline.nic.in.
The requests for centre change will be considered on the principle of “first apply-first allot” basis. Once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the centre will be frozen and will not be visible to the aspirants. The candidate will then be left to choose a centre from the remaining ones.
