New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council is likely to come out with a notification soon for the conduct of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) for recruitment in UP government schools.
As per news reports, Secretary UP Examination Regulatory Authority, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi has indicated that the notification could be published by next week. The exam is likely to be held in December 2019.
The notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test will be available on the official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
Candidates can also check the notification for UPTET 2019 on the UP Exam Authority website examregulatoryauthorityup.in
The test makes a teacher eligible for appointment in class I to VIII.
UPTET comprises two papers. Paper 1 is for those who wish to teach students from class I to V while Paper 2 of UPTET 2019 is for the candidates who wish to teach students of classes 6 to 8.
Candidates can opt for one of the papers at the time of registration.
