Kolkata: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will announce the practical exam topics Higher Secondary (HS) 2021 shortly and send those directly to schools. The practical exams will be held in schools and the answer sheets and projects will be sent to the council for evaluation.
“We have decided to give topics for the practical exam and, instead of asking the schools to send marks directly, we would be asking them to send the practical answer sheets and projects. Early next week, probably on January 4, we will hold a meeting and release a notification on the same,” an HS council official was quoted as saying by ABP Education.
“The syllabus for the practical exams, too, would be announced soon,” the official added.
Subjects like geography, statistics, physics, chemistry, nutrition and biological sciences require lab-based practicals as well as project work. The other subjects have 20-mark project work.
