West Bengal Para Teacher Arrested For Submitting Fake Documents

Kolkata: A para teacher, who has been teaching for the last nine years, was arrested for allegedly furnishing fake documents to secure the job in West Bengal’s Jhargram district.

The teacher was held on Friday night after a probe conducted by the education department, sources of news agency PTI said.

The accused had joined Tuliboro Primary School as a para teacher back in 2012 on the basis of fake documents, cops said.

The department decided to investigate the matter following a complaint against the teacher. The para teacher was produced before a court in Jhargram and was remanded to three-day police custody.
