Western Railway has released an official notification inviting online applications for engagement of Apprentices. The total number of apprentices to be recruited is 3553. Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the prescribed format available on the website: www.rrc.wr.com, on or before February 06, 2020.
Vacancy Details
Total Number of Apprentices to be engaged is 3353, in various trades like –
welder, turner, machinist, carpenter, painter, mechanic, Programming and system Administration Assistant.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Candidate must be matriculate or 10th pass from a recognized Board with 55% Marks.
- Must have an ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT, in relevant trade.
Age Limit – 15 to 24 years. Upper Age relaxation for reserved category candidates is applicable as per government norms.
Selection Process
Selection of the candidates for Apprentice Posts will be done on the basis of Merit. There will be no written test and Viva.
Application Process
Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the online mode on or before February 06, 2020. Candidates can take a printout of the finally submitted online application for future reference and check the official notification for reference.
Application Fee
Application Fee is Rs 100/- for candidates belonging to the General category. No application fee for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates.
