New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the online preliminary round of this year’s WWF-India Wild Wisdom Digital Quiz on August 9.
The theme of the quiz is ‘Re-imagining Our Planet’. It is an attempt to make the students aware about India’s wildlife and natural diversity.
Interested students from the Primary level (Classes III-V) and Middle level (Classes VI-VIII) can register online with a registration fee of Rs 50 each.
The last date for registration is August 5. Besides, each participant will get the WWF newsletter-Wisdom Nuggets and a participation certificate.
Notably, the top 10 winners of the quiz will get a chance to play chess with chess master Vishwanathan Anand.
In the quiz, participants will be quizzed on the following factors:
- Lesser known plants and animals
- Interdependence in biomes
- Adaptations in species
- Unique Ecological Behaviours and adaptations
- Innovative solutions/technology for conservation
- Conservationists around the world who are leading a change
The final round of Wild Wisdom Quiz 2020 will be held on August 16.
