XLRI- Xavier School of Management (known as Xavier Labor Relations Institute formerly), known as one of the first B-Schools in India, has announced on its official website that it plans to open its new campus in Delhi-NCR for academic session 2020-22 with two sections of its PGDBM Program from June 2020.
This year XAT will accept applications from aspirants for not only the Jamshedpur campus but also for XLRI, Delhi-NCR campus, subject to formal approval from AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
For admission to the institute, candidates need to apply for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2020 or GMAT. The application process for XAT have ended and for GMAT, the process will be closed on December 31.
“With India slated to become the fifth largest economy in the world in the world in the near future, there is a concomitant need for more business leaders. Hence a few years ago, XLRI took a strategic decision to expand its footprint across the country and decided to set up new campuses in the North, West and Southern parts of India,” states the official page.
The foundation Stone for Delhi-NCR campus in Jhajjar was laid on January 16, 2017.
The XLRI was founded in 1949 by Fr Quinn Enright, SJ soon after independence, in the Steel City Jamshedpur. The Jesuit Society has been guiding the activities and affairs of Institute since the beginning.
