New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to organise a special programme for school children called “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (YUVIKA) or “Young Scientist Programme”.
The programme is aimed at imparting basic knowledge on space technology, space science and space applications to young students, especially for those from rural areas.
The online registration process has already kicked off and the deadline to apply is till 4 pm on April 10. The declaration of provisional selection list for YUVIKA will be announced on April 20.
Interested candidates may register for YUVIKA 2022 on the official website — www.isro.gov.in. The two-week YUVIKA 2022 residential programme will be held during summer holidays from May 16 to May 28.
The initiative will shortlist 150 students from across the country who are in Class IX as of March 1, 2022, and attend a school in India’s territory.
