Bhubaneswar: The Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) has announced the opening of applications for the 22nd edition of the Professor Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship for Higher Education (PGDS) for the academic year 2026-27.
The scholarship, instituted in 2005 by IMFA and named after eminent historian Prof Ghanashyam Dash, offers up to 90% coverage of academic fees and eligible expenses, capped at Rs 6 lakh per student for a four-year course. It supports meritorious students pursuing professional degrees in Engineering, Medicine, STEM, and Liberal Arts.
Since 2016, BIPF has carried forward the legacy, enabling scholars to secure places at premier institutions including AIIMS, IITs, IIITs, NITs, SCB Medical College, and other leading colleges. In addition to financial aid, the Foundation runs Utsaah, a structured mentorship programme focusing on academic excellence, career guidance, mental well-being, leadership, and communication skills.
Students domiciled in Odisha who have qualified NEET, JEE,E Advance JEd, or CUET this year are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted via www.bipf.org.in by 30 October 2026.
