Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) Odisha has decided to extend the last date for the document verification process for the contractual Hindi, Sanskrit and Physical Education teachers.
Earlier, the directorate had informed the candidates that the document verification for those who have qualified in the Computer Based Test (CBT) would be held from October 30 onwards.
“It is for information of the candidates for recruitment to the post of Contractual Hindi/Sanskrit/Physical Education Teachers in Secondary Schools that verification of documents of qualified candidates was conducted in the permanent address district of candidates from October 30 2021 to November 2, 2021,” said the DSE.
“Some candidates might have failed to attend the verification process due to some reasons. In order to provide another opportunity to the candidates absent in the first phase, it has been decided to conduct the verification of documents again on 03.11.2021,” the DSE added.
Candidates, who could not go through the document verification process on the scheduled date between October 30 and November 2 can do so in the respective DEO offices on Wednesday, November 3, between 11 am and 2 pm.
As many as 4619 teacher vacancies will be filled up via the recruitment drive in government Secondary schools across the State. The CBT for the recruitment drive was conducted on October 4 and 5.
