New Delhi: Teaching and non-teaching staff who are yet to receive even the first dose COVID-19 vaccine will not be allowed to enter the school premises in the national capital, the Directorate of Education Delhi said.
The schools here will reopen here on November 1 though attendance is not mandatory.
Both online and offline classes would be held in the schools as usual. According to the order released, the officials will verify the vaccination status of teachers and staff.
The order issued by the Directorate of Education Delhi said that teachers, staffers, and all others working in schools who did not get themselves vaccinated by October 15, 2021, would not be allowed to attain their respective educational institutions. Thus, till their first dose of vaccination, the teachers and other staff working in the educational institutions would be treated as “On Leave,” the order was quoted as saying by Times Now News.
