New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched an online Master’s programme in Journalism and Mass Communication.
The application submission deadline without a late fee is January 31. These programmes have been designed to suit the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
“The quality of journalism education from IGNOU has provided equal opportunities for national and international students. MAJMC Online programme is futuristic, and encompasses all the core areas of journalism and mass communication. Apart from English, the university will launch MAJMC in regional languages such as Hindi and other languages,” IGNOU vice-chancellor, Nageshwar Rao, was quoted as saying during the launch by The Telegraph, Kolkata.
The IGNOU’s School of Journalism and New Media Studies is offering the two-year online MA course. The course is aimed at providing a comprehensive exposure to various aspects related to Journalism and Mass Communication.
It is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes and competencies.
