New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management’s (IIM) fees for MBA programmes — full-time MBA or PGDM courses —usually range between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 28 lakh. The fee structure is released by each institute well ahead of the programmes commence.
For instance, IIM Ahmedabad will charge Rs 28 lakhs as fee for PGP programme for the academic session 2021-23 while for IIM Calcutta, fee is Rs 27 lakhs and IIM Bangalore MBA fee is Rs 23 lakh this year. The MBA fees for new IIMs like IIM Trichy is Rs 11,80,000.
However, there are a number of expenses covered in IIM fee structure and that include academic fees, residential charges and other expenses for services and utilities. The basic key components are: Tuition fee, Course material, Library, Internet facility, Laptop and computer, Study Tours, International Immersion (If applicable), Alumni Charges, Hostel charges (single occupancy or double occupancy), Mess charges and miscellaneous expenses.
