New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has declared that the Kishor Vigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) aptitude test 2021 will be held on January 9. Candidates have been advised to visit kvpy.iisc.ernet.in for further information.
“This is for the information to all those candidates who have registered and paid the fees for the KVPY Aptitude test-2021. The KVPY Aptitude test will now be held on 9th January 2022,” read a notification on the official website.
The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, initiated and funded the national-level fellowship programme, KVPY.
The exam tests the aptitude for fellowships and contingency grants for students from Class XI to first year of basic science courses like BSc, BS, BStat, BMath, Integrated MSc, and Integrated MS.
Students take the test for admission to top institutes in the country, including the IISc and Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), for BS and BS-MS dual degree programmes.
Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the aptitude test followed by an interview. The IISc sets up groups or committees to oversee the selection process.
