IIT-Roorkee Awarded Top Position In This Category

New Delhi: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) awarded the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Roorkee) the top position under the most innovative research institutions category.

The CII picked the institute for the award for the innovations in Visco-elastic Energy Dissipating Link Elements for Earthquake resistant housing construction, Nitrogen-Doped Reduced Graphene Oxide (N-rGO) for High-Performance Supercapacitor, Nitrogen-Doped Reduced Graphene Oxide (N-rGO) for High-Performance Supercapacitor.

IIT Madras and Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services, Hyderabad (INCOIS), won the second and third positions, respectively.
