The classes of the new session are expected to start from August 3. The institute has introduced a UG course in Journalism and Mass Communication, starting this year.
The selection process of students will be based on Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test( NEET) and Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) marks (interview round and test). The institute has put up a tentative schedule of tests/ interviews on their official site.
The PhD students will get an extra six months’ time to submit their thesis. “All Internal assessments will be carried online and marks will be given in lieu of the final exam. The students will be given assignments, project reports, term papers, mini-review, open-book exams etc. during the vacation period. All submitted reports should be duly put to plagiarism check. These will be evaluated and marks given as this will be treated as par with a regular end semester exam,” as per the release published in The Indian Express.
