New Delhi: India is one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world today, adding more and more aircraft into its fleet every year. Consequently, the demand for pilots, ground-handling staff and onboard crew have surpassed the professional hands currently available in the market. The Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation estimates that the country would be requiring as many as 8000-10,000 pilots in the next decade to fly 1000 new planes.
Keeping these realities in mind, the Civil Aviation Ministry on Thursday launched a job portal dedicated solely to the aviation sector.
If you are dreaming to fly high or undertaking aviation-related courses, visit https://aviationjobs.co.in/ for the details.
The portal brings together job seekers and prospective employers and will act as a common platform for enabling candidates to register their job interests across various sub-sectors.
Employers can visit the portal to also source information about the candidates available in the market for employment as well as re-employment, the website said.
It was launched by Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep S Puri.
