Know What Students Invented During Lockdown To Fight COVID-19
New Delhi: With a health emergency and loss of lives, the corona pandemic has boosted the innovative side of students across the country.
Here’s a list of inventions from students to fight COVID-19:
Prithvi, the robot: Nishant Chandna and Saurav Maheshkar of KIIT World School Pitampura and Aditya Dubey of Modern School, Barakhamba, Delhi, jointly created a remote-controlled robot that can serve food and medicines.
Doorbell project: Sarthak Jain from Modern Public School Shalimar Bagh New Delhi designed a no touch doorbell that senses hand movement around it and presses the doorbell without the need for touch.
Face shields: To prevent people from getting in direct contact with the deadly virus, a Class XI student Amar Mohindra used a 3D printer to make a face shield. Amar along with his friends in Bengaluru and Trivandrum have so far distributed nearly 500 masks.
Toothpicks instead of lift buttons: In several housing societies, children are using toothpicks and ear-buds to press lift buttons.
So far, 13,387 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in the country.
