MHRD Launches ‘Bharat Padhe Online’ Campaign To Improve E-Learning

New Delhi: In an attempt to improve e-learning in India, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Friday launched a weeklong ‘Bharat Padhe Online’ campaign, inviting intellectuals to share ideas that can help in overcoming constraints of online education.

Interested individuals can share their ideas by mailing it at bharatpadheonline.mhrd@gmail.com or on Twitter by using # BharatPadheOnline.

Those using Twitter need to tag @HRDMinistry and @DrRPNishank so that ideas can be notified to them directly.

The last date for submitting the ideas is April 16, 2020.

Speaking about the campaign, the HRD minister as quoted in Indian Express said, “This campaign aims to invite all the best brains in India to share suggestions/ solutions directly with HRD Ministry to overcome constraints of online education while promoting the available digital education platforms.”

The HRD minster further stated that students and teachers are the main target audience in this campaign as they can share what is lacking in the existing online platforms and how it can be improved.
