NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (CUET‑UG) will be held in May 2026.

Ahead of the application process, the NTA has urged candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar details, Unique Disability Identity (UDID) cards, and category certificates are updated.

This step is crucial to avoid discrepancies, grievances, or possible rejection of applications at later stages, an official notification said.

NTA will soon open the online application window for CUET‑UG 2026 registration on its official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The entrance test will be conducted for undergraduate admissions to 47 central universities and over 300 colleges across India.

To streamline the registration process for CUET (UG)‑2026, the NTA has advised all eligible aspirants to update their documents well in advance of the opening of application window.

Candidates must ensure that their Aadhaar card reflects the correct name, date of birth (as per the Class 10 certificate), latest photograph, address, and father’s name.

Persons with disabilities are required to keep their UDID card or disability certificate valid, updated, and renewed as necessary.

The applicants should also verify that their category certificate is current to avoid discrepancies, grievances, or rejection at later stages of the admission process.
