New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday said it will be conducting a re-exam of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) 2020 for a section of students seeking admission for MPhil and PhD in Historical Studies.
The re-exam will be held on October 28 for only those candidates who appeared for the JNUEE 2020 for MPhil and PhD on October 6 in the evening shift, India Today reported.
The move comes after students faced technical glitches during the examination. Some students could not even download the answer keys after the exam.
The NTA Director General said, “Not all students will have to reappear in the exam. Only those who had taken the exam in the JNU entrance exam for Historical Studies on October 6 in the evening shift will have to reappear. Some technical issues were reported in that shift and the NTA always believes in giving fair and equal opportunity to all candidates.”
